My role was to understand how customers interacted with deals to ensure product placement matched buying behavior.

This experience strengthened my ability to break down ambiguous problems using data, and how small thoughtful changes could have an impact in the customer journey even on a large platform such as Amazon.

I monitored product performance tracking revenue, adoption, attrition and retention.

I conducted cohort analysis and A/B testing using performance data to inform product strategy and roadmaps.

I designed research and led focus groups, product testing, and user interviews on multiple products.

I supported high-growth initiatives contributing to UNICEF, Stanford Seed and Meta Accelerator programs, conducting big data analysis that accelerated market expansion and new product launch.

I worked as a Product Marketing Associate overseeing a portfolio of SMS, USSD, IVR and Contact center products aimed at feature phone users in Africa who have limited access to the internet.

I supervised daily call-out requests from clients to service faulty generators, UPS’s and Solar systems, replacing damaged parts and re-fuelling.

I also managed country-wide quarterly maintenance services and new installations, coordinating schedules with clients, assigning manpower and budgets.

I collaborated with engineers for post-site assessments after service delivery, ensuring the team adhered to SLA and quality standards.

I joined the company to setup a structured marketing function. I partnered with the CEO on go-to-market decisions driving expansion and adoption of the following industrial power backup products in Southern Africa:

  • Generators, Solar Systems (Residential, Commercial and Farming)

  • Back-up power batteries, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)

I spent a lot of time on the ground working closely with engineers and clients, understanding how the products work, assessing customer’s energy needs and recommending custom built solutions.
